Tall jug with slightly turned foot, tapering towards neck which is decorated with a raised border of interlacing leaves, the hinged lid having a thumb lever; the handle of which had rush binding, fragments of which remain. The Keswick School of Industrial Art (KSIA) was founded in 1884 by Canon Hardwicke Rawnsley and his wife Edith to offer evening classes in repousse metalwork.
