Written anew for children by J.W. Mackail. 200 paper copies, none on vellum. J.W. Mackail was Edward Burne-Jones’ son-in-law and later Morris’ biographer. He was also a socialist, Virgil scholar, professor of poetry at Oxford and president of the British Academy.
