The Gallery’s programme includes workshops led by professional artists and specialist educators, guided tours, gallery sketching sessions and self-led group visits.

Families
William Morris Gallery is a perfect place to explore for the whole family. If you’re planning to make a visit, be sure to pick up the Gallery’s Family Trail from the front desk so you can learn all about the life and work of William Morris. There’s even a prize to claim at the end! We tailor a new trail for each of the Gallery’s special exhibitions.

Young people
As part of the learning programme, Willliam Morris Gallery works with Young People with an interest in art, design, fashion and textiles. The Gallery offers design courses, individual workshops and work experience opportunities.

Creative Health & Wellbeing
At William Morris Gallery, we believe that engaging with art and nature plays a vital role in supporting health and wellbeing. We collaborate with healthcare professionals, community partners, and local residents to develop projects that help people lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.

Adults
The William Morris Gallery has a range of open access activities and creative opportunities for adults. Activities are inspired by the collections and special exhibitions and include artist led workshops exploring creative practice, with a focus on making and visual art. Events include storytelling and spoken word for adults, Gallery lates with performances and drop-in activities, plus special curator-led tours of special exhibitions.
