A 1901 edition of Volsunga Saga and Three Northern Love Stories, first translated by William Morris and Eirikr Magnusson in 1875. This edition was printed on the Chiswick Press for Longmans Publishers. The book is linen backed quarter holland and printed in Golden type in red and black ink. The book tells story of the Icelandic hero Sigmund and his son Sigurd, culminating in the latter’s slaying of the dragon Fafnir, his tragic dalliance with Brynhild and Gudrun and his subsequent demise.
